COVID-19 Safety plans

Below are some of the plans we are making in order to provide a safe and comfortable environment to everyone in attendance.

It's our goal to continue to meet in person at the church building and through Hubs periodically, and the best way to ensure that we can continue to meet is by meeting the safest way possible. See what we are doing below.

  • How are you feeling?

Before joining us for in-person worship, please assess your current health. If you, or anyone you’ve recently been in contact with, are exhibiting any of the following symptoms please worship from home today.

    • Fever or chills - Cough - Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing - Fatigue - Muscle or body aches - Headache - New loss of taste or smell - Sore throat - Congestion or runny nose - Nausea or vomiting - Diarrhea
    • Learn More: cdc.gov/coronavirus

  • How will i check in?

Our check in counter will be set up just inside the entrance to accept one family at a time. Your contact information will be verified as well at check in so we can maintain current communications and contact tracing if necessary.

  • Where should we sit?

We ask that only families sit together. If sharing the same row with another family, please leave at least six feet between your families.

Inside the sanctuary, you’ll notice that we’ve spaced rows out to provide more distancing between groups. We know everyone has their favorite spot, but please do not move chairs to sit in "your spot." Our goal is to provide adequate spacing for your entire group.

  • What about my kids?

Children’s Ministry is open. Please bring your children to worship service with you and enjoy letting your littles watch you in worship as you both grow and learn. We ask that children observe the same health and sickness guidelines and do  not attend service in person if they are sick or showing any of the symptoms above.

Following worship, children will be dismissed and must be checked-in by a family member prior to entering Children's Church.

  • Can i sanitize?

For your convenience, hand sanitizing stations have been set up at the front entrance hallway and outside the kitchen window. These stations will automatically dispense the hand sanitizer. Please use as necessary.

  • How Can I give?

We will not pass offering baskets at this time. You can still give in several convenient ways:

    Online

    Automatic Withdrawal

Text to Give (text to 84321 and setup NLCC)

By Mail (PO Box 30, Carlton MN 55718)

Use the dropbox at the rear of the sanctuary

  • will we still use bulletins?

Printed copies will be available for personal pickup at the rear of the sanctuary.

  • Are groups still meeting?

Hubs will still be meeting periodically throughout the year and as we take intermittent breaks from our Sunday Gatherings. Prayer ministry and other small groups will still meet and are encouraged to follow the MN Stay Safe guidelines for group sizes and safety practices. Youth group will meet Wednesday evenings as permitted by state guidelines.
